The GoFundMe page stated: “We lost Tyrone to a senseless act of violence. He left behind four Brothers and two Sisters.
It went to claim: “Tyrones friend visited him at his home. Tyrone and his friend started arguing over a phone charger, his friend then took a knife and stabbed him in his side the stab womb punctured his heart… 3 hours later Tyrone died in Hospital with his loving mother, Elaine by his side.” [sic]
The page had raised more than £1,600 before it was deactivated.
Changing Your Mind Set, a local youth project, also paid tribute to Tyrone on Facebook.
It wrote “Let’s reflect on how senseless his loss of life is and the devastating trauma his family and close friends are experiencing at this time.”
